We love this gate to keep out 10 month old son from climbing or falling on our double hearth. We bought extenders to frame in such a huge area. It looks great and is safe! When we want to build fires in the winter, it will even be more convenient than the rubber edging placed along brick edging that we were concerned wouldn't come off easily and without leaving goo. We love it!

Great Product and very easy to use. - D. Aguiar -
This is a very easy product to use. My only problem with it is that they dont include any 8 inch sections to make custom fitting this fence difficult. It would be nice if the sections could be changed in size. Otherwise, this is a strong, good looking product that my 16 month old has yet to defeat.

I really like using this hearth gate. There are extensions that you can buy so that it can wrap around any design. The gate door cant be opened by my young child. Not only is it functional but it also looks classy. I think it's great and would definitely recommend it to parents with young children.
